Candle Care
First Burn
During the first use, burn your candle for at least 2-3 hours to ensure the top layer of wax melts evenly across the entire surface. This prevents tunneling and extends the candle's lifespan.
Trimming the Wick
Trim the wick to at least 1/4 of an inch before each burn to maintain the flame at the proper height for the candle. Untrimmed wicks can emit carbon (resulting in black soot) or lead to excessive burning and discoloration. You can use wick trimmers, scissors, or simply pinch off the burnt ends with your fingers.
Safety Tips
Avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours continuously, and extinguish it when only 1/2 inch of wax remains to prevent the jar from overheating.
After Care
After enjoying your favorite candle, consider repurposing it as a plant pot, pen holder, candy jar, and more.
